Chris, I am glad to see that memories could be shared and once again viewed. I remember being out there that day and being able to see our trio up close. It was a very exciting day. Wasn't HE the one that was actually able to take her "Bling" off once they were placed back up in the nest?
I don't remember HE slipping her bling. HE and her siblings were banded when Azalea (the oldest) was 31 days old. The next year, they tried to band the eaglets when Camellia (the oldest) was 20 days old. And the two younger eaglets (ND and NE) slipped their bands. As far as I can recall, HE's claim to fame was when she fell out of the nest!
