No post yesterday -- I was out of town for Easter.
Today was day 58 for the Berry College Bald Eagle. I would like to thank Berry College for this fine camera angle:
I didn't have time to view the nest today since I spent most of the time driving back and then had to leave shortly after getting back into town. This is the best s'cap that I got today. This looks like a full size eaglet now.
Here the eaglet is doing that funny looking neck thing that birds do when they are trying to get a better look at something:
This seems to be the nighttime arrangement now, with the chick in the nest and Mom on this same branch.
I see three puddles of fluffy chick at the Hays nest tonight, with Mom watching over her babies.
Look at the bulging crop on the Two Harbors baby!
White Rock nest is on hatch watch now! I'm very excited to see these parents have success this year after last year's disastrous nesting season.
It's a peaceful scene at the Scottish Wildlife Trust's Loch of the Lowes Osprey nest tonight.
Mom Berry Bluebird is wide awake tonight:
Bald Eagle Camellia is doing the Tour 'de Landfill. First at the King and Queen County Landfill. And then at the Gloucester County Landfill.
