Africam Black Eagle Day 101 Fledge Watch Continues, Big Sur Condor Day 114, Harrison Bay Eagles, White-bellied Sea Eagles Day 32 Escape From The Nest Bowl

We got some nice close-ups of the Africam Black Eagle chick Kendi.

Kendi is being a lot more active in the nest.

Kendi took care of some business. Lightening the load for fledge?! Dare I hope?!

Kendi did some preening. Hmmm. Maybe not.

And then laid down... Well then, I guess that answers the question...

There was quite a bit of wingercizing today.

This looks like the start of the Hokey Pokey: "Put your right foot out..."

More wingercizing.

Nice camouflage! Once Kendi fledges, we won't see the chick on camera as much. So, let's enjoy these moments...

The Big Sur Condor barely moved for the hour I watched today. This is all I've got for today for this nest...

The Harrison Bay Eagle Mom and Dad spent the night on the Y branch last night.

It looks like they are growing their own soft grasses for the nest bowl this year!

Was the above s'cap and the below s'cap taken at the same time? Nope. Above was this morning, then this evening was deja vu.

Mom is spending the night on the Y branch. So pretty in silhouette!

Bonus silhouette!

The White-bellied Sea Eaglets were in a puddle to greet the day.

They start to perk up if they think food is coming.

SE16 does a wing stretch.

Food!

They are now coming to the food.

And they are escaping the nest bowl to get closer to the parent. They both got bites during this feeding. SE16 is closer to the camera.

A little later and they get some more food. This time, SE15 is closer to the camera.

SE15 is still closer to the camera.

 Food coma!

They both came face-to-face while moving around. This was a fleeting moment.
