The Africam Black Eaglet was being shy today. I left it streaming and recording when I went to work today. The stream froze after 22 minutes. Great! Just great! I recorded 8 hours of the same view...

I recorded 22 minutes of the Dyfi Osprey nest this morning. This Fledgling never moved from this spot...

One of the Harrison Bay Eaglets made a grand entrance this evening.

It called for a while.

It looks like it's tucked in for the night.

The Scottish Wildlife Trust's Loch of the Lowes Osprey nest had Mom and a fledgling in the nest this morning (afternoon for them.) Mom was crying for Dad to bring her a fish. The baby has an antenna, so it's either FR3 or FR4.

The feathers are coming in nicely on the Soddy Daisy bluebirds.

The baby's eyes are starting to open. You can also see the little spot deep in the mouth that opens with their breathing. It's just a small dark spot. See it?

The poop packets are getting bigger.

Mom slept pretty good during the night. This s'cap is one of the few times she roused enough for us to see the eggs. Nothing happening yet...

Later in the day, I just missed a nest change. Here's Dad, having just settled down onto the eggs.

After a short break, Mom returned.

Dad was quick to back up off of the eggs. He knows that he can move on his own or get shoved out of the way!

Zoomer gave us a good view before Mom could settle down onto the eggs. I don't see any pips or cracks yet. I'm thinking we should see the first hatch by the end of their day tomorrow at the latest... One of the moderators said that they are starting to look at the eggs and listen to them.

Bald Eagle MB is still up in New York. Check out Reese's most recent blog entry.
