Berry College Fledgling Day 106, Nest Cam Round-up: Hays, Two Harbors, White Rock, and Berry College Bluebird, and Bald Eagle Camellia Checked In

Today was day 106 for the Berry College Bald Eagle. When I brought up the nest cam today, B3 and one of the adults were cleaning up the nest after a meal.

B3 is keeping her head low -- a submissive posture in the adult's presence.

She perks up once the parent leaves and she's got the nest to herself.

B3 did some feaking. She has her nictitating membrane closed in most of these s'caps, protecting her eyes from any protrusions from the branch or debris that comes off as she rubs her beak on the branch.

Afterward, her beak is all clean and sharp.

The eaglets were spread out today at the Hays nest.

And then snuggled together tonight.

The Two Harbors eaglet kept her back to me while eating. This is the only s'cap I got today of her.

The White Rock eaglets spend their days side-by-side. These two are so interesting to watch. It's not often that two siblings hatch so close together -- these two hatched around 12 hours apart.

Berry College Bluebird only has a few more lazy days of incubating before any eggs hatch. If multiple eggs hatch, she will be busy feeding her hungry babies. Look for hatch on Thursday/Friday-ish...

Bald Eagle Camellia checked in today. And there are two more pictures of him. He is so handsome!
