Berry College Eagles Day 56&58 Playing With Sticks, Harrison Bay Eagles Day 12&14, Loch Of The Lowes Osprey on Egg Watch

Verizon sucks! When it rains, I lose my internet. So I am going to struggle through a very quick post...

The Berry College nest had a wet morning. They are perfectly insulated from cold and wet now, so don't worry...

The eaglets are looking full size now. But I still can't figure out male or female... Maybe this weekend I'll be able to catch them side by side, same distance from cam, facing same direction. And with a parent for comparison would be good too!

It's at this stage in their development that the parents will bring a large stick or pine cone for them to practice standing on. So, this stick is brought to the nest, and they are both interested in it:

One of the eaglets ends up with the stick and gets one foot on it:

Then both feet:

The same eaglet started doing some wingercizing and hopping. It got a lot of air:

At the Harrison Bay nest, somebody has been covering up the eaglets again!

The babies are getting plenty to eat. One of them isn't even hungry.

We got a nice close-up of the parent. This really is a nice cam:

The Scottish Wildlife Trust's Loch of the Lowes Osprey nest is on egg watch. It doesn't appear that Lady is going to return. The male is starting to accept the new female, bringing her fish and mating with her. Talons crossed for a successful season at this nest.
