I'm having issues with my DSL. I've got a new modem coming, supposed to arrive by Wednesday. Until then, my coverage of the nests is going to be hit or miss. Maybe I'll go to a hotspot tomorrow...
I did get a look at the Africam Black Eagle chick today. We should see wingercizing now.
The Harrison Bay Eagle parents are spending another night in the nest tree. At least, I think this is both of them.
I was able to get the White-bellied Sea Eagle cam to come up for a couple of minutes and look at these cutie-pies laying like book ends in the nest.
The Soddy Daisy Bluebirds all fledged today, just as I expected. I didn't get any s'caps of them from today...
I'm not sure which of the Dyfi Osprey is on the perch. The 360 Observatory is in the background.

The Harrison Bay Eagle parents spent the night in the nest tree again. Dawn found them side-by-side on one of the Y branches.
Here's a video of Mom & Dad Early Morning on the branch. They sing, stretch, scratch, poop, and preen (5:10).

Then went out onto a different branch.
The infrared camera turned off while she was still perched there. I like the color view better...
She eventually flew over to the large pine where they like to perch. Here she is in flight, the white dot to the right of center:
Tonight finds the parents back in the nest tree. They are spending a lot of nights in the nest tree. I wonder if this is a phase they go through each year. Maybe making sure they are available if the kids show up. Or maybe making sure they are really gone before they take off for the off-season... Whatever the case, I enjoy seeing them.
All three babies were in the nest at the Scottish Wildlife Trust's Loch of the Lowes Osprey nest.
The Crows like to pick through the nest when the Osprey aren't around. Here, the Crow is taking off from the front of the nest because it sees an Osprey coming in from the left.
A couple of frames later and the Osprey lands.
It's a tight fit for the Soddy Daisy Bluebirds. I didn't see them get fed very much today. The parents are encouraging them to leave the nest. I anticipate fledge tomorrow!
The White-bellied Sea Eagle nest has the nicest light at sunrise.
Mom is still having more misses than hits while feeding the babies.
The chicks know where the food comes from and are focused on the parent.
The chicks are growing like weeds. They are getting a lot stronger. They aren't bobble-heads so much any more...
They are so cute. I did see some sibling rivalry today, but I saw snuggly moments too.

Dad White-bellied Sea Eagle will come to the nest and fly off with a fish. This morning when Dad arrived at the nest, Mom got up and took one fish...
...and took another fish so Dad couldn't fly off with either.
Dad left and Mom fed the chicks.
The chicks are sizing each other up for some bopping.
This is right before they did some hair pulling.
Dad came back and grabbed a fish and left with it.
Mom came around for this feeding and we can see the chicks.

These babies are so cute!
Dad was having a hard time trying to figure out how to brood these growing babies. He made several false starts and ended up just hovering over the chicks.
Mom must have come back because he got up, grabbed a fish, ran across the nest, and took off. And sure enough, Mom appeared a few minutes later. Here's Dad taking off with the fish.
The Africam Black Eagle's feathers are coming in nicely. Kendi still looks a lot smaller than Mom though, so we should still see some more growth.

W3 was in the nest this morning at the Dyfi Osprey nest.
Mom and Dad are spending the night in the nest tree at the Harrison Bay nest. HB7 & HB8 haven't been seen since Saturday, when they were 132 and 134 days old. I wonder if they flew off together? Here's Mom and Dad.
It's hard to believe, but we will be on fledge watch soon at the Soddy Daisy Bluebird nest. I think they may fledge on the 14th, but I'll start watching on the 13th just to be sure... Their behavior should help to pin it down.
There was an early morning feeding at the White-bellied Sea Eagle nest.
Then, in a blink, the cam switched from infrared to normal and we see the nest in color.
Dad comes to the nest early every morning to give Mom a break, who stays on the nest the majority of the time.
Look at these cutie-pies! The tip of SE15's beak is more gray and the tip of SE16's beak is black. So, I think SE16 is behind SE15.
These Eagles are so pretty!
Whoever has the food gets 100% of the chicks' attention!
