Africam Black Eagle Day 22, Berry College Bluebirds Eggs!, Dyfi Osprey Day 18,20&21, Harrison Bay Eagles Day 82&84, Loch of the Lowes Osprey Day 26,28&29, White Rock Eagles Day 60&61

It was a good day to watch the cams! I've got a ton of s'caps to share!

I brought up the Africam Black Eagle nest to a nice close-up of Mom feeding the chick.

Mom doesn't connect with the baby very well during feedings. The baby tries, but it's like Mom doesn't want to get close to the baby. The baby will strain upward for a bite which makes Mom shy away.

Mom is always on guard.

They are cute together.

This baby really seems to be growing slow...

Then zoomer brought the picture wide.

Berry College Bluebird cam is available again, and there are 5 eggs.

Mom has begun to incubate, so this is probably the entire clutch.

Mom Dyfi brought a piece of lumber to the nest.

And when I say lumber, this time, it really is a piece of lumber...

Then she took off again. Dad is on the high perch.

Then Dad takes a lap.

Returning moments later to the same high perch.

They both watched as a train rumbled by.

Then Dad comes to the nest to rearrange the lumber and sticks that Mom has brought to the nest.

Check out this video to see Mom and Dad's efforts to build up the crib rails. There's a train pass to. Here's Crib Rails and Trains (4:33):

There was a nice surprise at the Harrison Bay Eagle nest today. Both of the fledglings spent a lot of time at the nest today! And they spent a lot of time together.

One eaglet hopped over to join the other on the right hand Y branch.

It started raining and there was a lot of flapping going on.

This is how they dry off after it rains.

They make such a pretty picture with the clouds and pine needles framing the Eaglet.

Pretty feet!

The Eaglet on the branch is dangling its foot over the branch.

They even laid down together for a while.

We were treated to another pretty close-up.

Birds turn their heads to the side to get better visual acuity.

Look at how big the Scottish Wildlife Trust's Loch of the Lowes Osprey chicks are getting!

Mom is stretching her left wing and leg.

Here comes Dad with a big fish.

Mom is pulling and tugging on the fish, trying to get it loose from Dad's foot.

She succeeded. The fish was still alive and flipped and flopped into the nest bowl with the chicks.

Mom nearly knocked Dad over trying to retrieve it.

Dad said, exit stage right...

It was a pretty morning at the White Rock Eagle nest.

The close-up cam wasn't working for me this morning, so I had to use the overhead cam. Still a pretty picture, but I don't think the view of the Eagles is as nice...
