Nest Cam Round-up: Africam Black Eagle, White Rock (Empty Nest), White-bellied Sea Eagle, Dyfi Osprey, and Berry College Bluebird

It's hard to tell which end of the Africam Black Eagle chick is up. All I could tell for sure is that the head is farthest away from the camera. Other than that, it's anyone's guess...

Empty nest again tonight at the White Rock nest.

The scene at the nest looks so different from one minute to the next. Compare the above s'cap with the below s'cap, taken 20 minutes later.

Here's another of Christian Sasse's pictures taken at the White Rock nest.

I didn't get a look at the eggs today at the White-bellied Sea Eagle nest.

The chicks at the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust's Dyfi Osprey Project nest spend a lot of time aligned away from the camera. I think that babies in the nest tend to lay facing the direction where a parent is perched. There is a perch behind this nest that the parents use a lot.

Peek-a-boo!

Mom Berry College Bluebird won't move off of the eggs so I can see what's under there. There were 4 eggs in the nest earlier today. I doubt she laid another since then...

She's got some weird looking eyes here. Probably has something to do with the IR light...
