Berry College Fledgling Day 89 (Fledge Day!)

Today is day 89 for the Berry College Bald Eagle -- and it's Fledge Day!!! At about 7:11AM this morning, with pretty golden light on the nest, the eaglet hopped up onto the front branch, looked around, then launched herself off of the branch, staying on camera for a few wing beats. This is the first video of her fledging. Around time :38 she does a fly-by in the top left corner. This second video shows the moments in the nest leading up to the big moment then transitions to the approach cam to show the launch. This third video shows her second flight from the nest, around 10:51AM. It's shown first from the nest cam then from the approach cam. She is captured in flight on the approach cam for a longer period of time than on her maiden flight.
